What else do I need to know about becoming a volunteer?
Chapters Health has volunteer opportunities to suit people with a variety of interests and talents. Days and times are flexible and every role is valued. If you have one to four hours per week and a true desire to help, we invite you to embark on your own life-changing journey as a Chapters Health volunteer.
Volunteers offer their time weekly, monthly or seasonally. We accept volunteers as young as 14 and service hours are provided for high school students. All prospective volunteers must complete an application and interview before participating in a volunteer orientation. Volunteers working directly with hospice patients are required to attend a thorough training. Office and community volunteers are oriented to the organization in a more condensed training session. All training sessions are provided free of charge, during daytime and evening hours.
