It is our honor to dedicate this 13th Annual Fishing Tournament in memory of Dennis Wilfong. A great man, friend and someone who has many achievements in life that everyone looked up to him with great respect and honor, passed away August 2021, for his dedication to his community, his family and friends. He was a great support and assistance in making Hernando County Great. He will be greatly missed.

Hospice care services focus on providing patients with the best possible remaining quality of life. With in-depth care, education and training, we offer pain reduction, maximum comfort, and emotional and spiritual support for patients and families. 

The Hogan Law Firm believes in HPH Hospice and its mission, and feels that the organization is worthy of benefiting from this charitable event. Media Coverage

With two months of publicity and media activity prior to the event, the tournament and its sponsors are well advertised. 

The media efforts include a full-page ad in the local newspaper, local and regional radio station broadcasts, a website, a Facebook page, and advertising on news sites.

Event Attendance

The event averages 75 anglers. Anglers depart the beautiful Bayport area for a day of flats fishing.  

After “measure in”, anglers and their families gather at the Coast Guard Auxiliary in nearby Hernando Beach for an awards ceremony and a delicious catered dinner catered by Nina’s Cucina Catering.
