Hogan Law Firm Names HPH Hospice Beneficiary of 13th Annual Charitable Fishing Tournament

Tournament Benefits Patients, Families and Bereavement Services of HPH Hospice

The Hogan Law Firm once again announced HPH Hospice as the beneficiary of the 13th Annual Charitable Fishing Tournament, which will take place on Saturday, May 14, 2022 at Bayport Park, 4140 Cortez Boulevard in Spring Hill. Check-in begins at 6:30 a.m.

This year, The Hogan Law Firm dedicated the tournament to Dennis Wilfong, who passed away in August of 2021. He was well-respected and honored by the Hernando County community for his dedication to his family and friends.

“The Hogan Law Firm was one of Dennis’ friends and we all feel his loss acutely,” said Deborah Hogan, senior partner at Hogan Law Firm.

“The firm has had family members, co-workers and clients who have benefited from the humane work of hospice,” said Clifford Taylor, law partner at Hogan Law Firm.

“HPH Hospice has the ability to make such a positive impact on the patients and families in our community,” said Andrea Arflack, director of philanthropy for the Chapters Health Foundation in support of HPH Hospice. “That’s why we are so grateful for the support of Hogan Law Firm and our presenting sponsor, Topline Automotive Engineering Inc., for their commitment to this annual tournament. We’re looking forward to a great Saturday on the water.”

The past ten tournaments have raised more than $230,000 for HPH Hospice. This year’s tournament is a catch, document, and release format with cash prizes up to $1,500. Eligible fish include snook, redfish, and spotted sea trout. After the competition, anglers and their families can enjoy a silent auction and awards dinner, catered by Weeki Wachee Candy Co.

Anglers can register online at www.chaptershealth.org/foundation/hogan-fishing/ or onsite between 6 a.m. and 8 a.m. on the day of the tournament. Anglers can track the tournament leaderboard through the tournament app.
