Hogan Law Firm Raises More than $26K in Support of HPH Hospice at Annual Charitable Fishing Tournament

Funds Benefit Patients, Families and Bereavement Services

Chapters Health Foundation today announced the success of the 12th Annual Hogan Law Firm Charitable Fishing Tournament. The event raised more than $26,000 in support of HPH Hospice as the beneficiary.

Proceeds from the event support programs across all service areas of HPH Hospice. The services include bereavement for adults and children, Chapters Health Valor program supporting veterans and first responders, and a special needs fund created to cover expenses that fall outside the realm of care but are critical to patients and families.

“We are so grateful for the continued support of the Hogan Law Firm and the participants of this year’s fishing tournament,” said Andrea Arflack, director of philanthropy for the Chapters Health Foundation in support of HPH Hospice. “Over the course of the past 12 years, they have raised over $225,000 to provide peace of mind to the patients and families of our community.

Hogan Law Firm dedicated its 12th Annual Charitable Fishing Tournament to Dwight Kerr, the late director of philanthropy for HPH Hospice, who passed away suddenly in January 2021. Dwight was a great supporter of Hogan Law Firm’s Annual Charitable Fishing Tournament.

“Dwight would have been so honored,” said Linda Kerr, Dwight’s Wife. “Thank you for remembering and honoring him. He is most definitely missed.”
