Now offering stellar end-of-life care and a variety of services to fit into the healthcare needs of the Keys community

Community Partners

Chapters Health System, one of the nation’s premier not-for-profit, community-based healthcare organizations headquartered in Temple Terrace, today announced not-for-profit hospice services are back to the Florida Keys and surrounding areas.

“At Chapters Health, we are always looking for opportunities to increase and expand access to quality healthcare for a greater number of individuals in our communities who are faced with advancing age, complex medical conditions and end-of-life issues,” said Andrew Molosky, MBA, FACHE, CHPCA, president and chief executive officer at Chapters Health. “With this mission in mind and the knowledge that there was an unmet need, we are excited about offering not-for-profit hospice services once again to the unique communities of the Florida Keys.”

“Hospice care is unique,” continued Vivian Dodge, executive director of Chapters Health Hospice in Monroe County. “It is a patient-centric philosophy that focuses on one’s quality of life, while managing the physical and emotional aspects of the disease or diagnosis.

“The Florida Keys is truly a special place,” emphasized Dodge. “Chapters Health Hospice and Chapters Health System are honored to offer stellar end-of-life care and a variety of services to fit into the healthcare needs of the Keys community.”

Chapters Health Hospice in Monroe County joins the other member organizations of the health system, which include Chapters Health Hospice in Martin and St. Lucie counties; Good Shepherd Hospice in Polk, Highlands and Hardee counties; Hospice of Okeechobee in Okeechobee County; HPH Hospice in Pasco, Hernando and Citrus counties; LifePath Hospice in Hillsborough County; Chapters Health Home Care; and Chapters Health Palliative Care. With the addition of Chapters Health Hospice, Chapters Health and its member organizations combine to provide care to more than 20,000 Floridians annually residing in 12 counties.

“Down the road, once hospice services are fully operational for Chapters Health Hospice, we plan to increase and expand our portfolio to reflect Chapters Health’s full continuum-of-care services, including home health, palliative medicine and other community-based care models,” shared Dodge.
