Chapters Health Foundation Raises more than $19K at Inaugural Hospice Hold’em and Casino Night Fundraiser

The Chapters Health Foundation announced the funding results of the inaugural Hospice Hold'em and Casino Night Fundraiser.

Today the Chapters Health Foundation announced it raised more than $19,000 at its inaugural Hospice Hold’em and Casino Night fundraiser, which was held at the Spartan Manor in New Port Richey on the evening of October 22, 2021.

The proceeds benefit the special needs fund of HPH Hospice and patient wish requests through the Chapters Health Foundation. The special needs fund covers expenses that are typically not included in standard hospice benefits but are nonetheless critical to the care and support of patients and families.

The Casino Royale-themed fundraiser featured a Texas Hold’em poker tournament along with other casino games and prizes.

“We enjoyed a fun-filled evening of poker and casino games,” said Andrea Arflack, director of philanthropy for the Chapters Health Foundation in support of HPH Hospice. “Congratulations to our tournament winner, Brad Powell, who received a two-night stay at the coveted Florida Cracker Riverside Resort in Homosassa Springs with a $100 tab at the Monkey Bar. And, congratulations to Liz Casner. She won the raffle and is looking forward to having dinner with Paul Tuetul Sr. of Orange County Choppers. We are so grateful for the continued support of our friend, Dr. Joseph Pino of Bayonet Point as our presenting sponsor and the support of many other sponsors and look forward to next year’s event.”
