Cornerstone Hospice, an affiliate of Chapters Health System, proudly announces the opening of the first free-standing hospice house in Orange County. On Wednesday, July 19, 2023, this significant milestone will be commemorated with an official ribbon-cutting event at approximately 2:15 p.m. at the brand-new Cornerstone Orlando Hospice House, located at 46 Pennsylvania Street in Orlando, Florida.

In anticipation of this remarkable occasion, Rhonda White, MPH, BSW,CHC, chief operating officer for Chapters Health, shared her thoughts on the new inpatient facility. “The opening of the Cornerstone Orlando Hospice House marks a tremendous achievement in our mission to provide exceptional end-of-life care to the residents of Central Florida. This state-of-the-art facility represents our unwavering commitment to enhancing the lives of patients and their families during their most challenging moments,” she stated.

The Cornerstone Orlando Hospice House offers 20 private suites designed to provide comfort and serenity to patients. Equipped with state-of-the art amenities, the facility ensures that each individual receives personalized care tailored to their unique needs. Understanding the importance of family support is why the hospice house offers unlimited visiting hours and dedicated spaces for retreat and reflection. Furthermore, a 24-hour admissions process allows swift access to exceptional services.

To celebrate this significant achievement, the community is invited to an open house following the ribbon-cutting ceremony. Guided tours will allow visitors to explore the facility and witness firsthand the exceptional care environment.
