Chapters Health System Names New Vice President of Information Systems and Technology

Chapters Health System, one of the nation’s premier not-for-profit, community-based healthcare organizations headquartered in Temple Terrace, names Sheri Strobel, CPA, as the organization’s new vice president of information systems and technology. She starts in this role today. Strobel will provide leadership for the clinical informatics, information technology and information systems teams.

“At Chapters Health, we are thrilled to have Sheri become a member of our family,” said Sheryl Sypek, chief information officer at Chapters Health. “As technology infrastructure and information systems become key components of the transformational change at Chapters Health, it was important to have the right leader in place to support this endeavor. For the past 20 years, Sheri has led healthcare technology teams to maximize the value in solutions delivered to key stakeholders, and we knew she was the ideal person to lead our charge into the future.”

While attending St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin where she received her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting, Strobel started her healthcare career as a memory care certified nursing assistant at an Alzheimer’s care community. Prior to joining Chapters Health, Strobel was vice president of applications at Brookdale Senior Living in Brentwood, Tennessee, and the director of business applications at Alterra Healthcare in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Strobel is certified as a public accountant, agile leader, product owner and a scrum master, and currently volunteers for the Alzheimer’s Association, WiTT and Technology Leaders of Nashville, and serves on the Technology Advisory Board for Nashville State Community College.
