The Chapters Health Foundation invites players and spectators to enjoy this year’s Hospice Open on April 23, 2021 at the Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club in Dade City. The format for this year’s Hospice Open is a scramble. Registration and a continental breakfast, including a Bloody Mary Bar, will be provided at 8 a.m., and a shotgun start commences at 9 a.m. Lunch will be served at The Hub and will once again feature the popular Hydration Station. An awards ceremony and Helicopter Ball Drop will immediately follow the tournament.

“Over the course of the past two years, Chapters Health Foundation’s Hospice Open Golf Tournament, presented by ZENO Office Solutions, has dramatically evolved to its next level of development,” said Adam Stanfield, vice president of development and executive director of Chapters Health Foundation. “New atmospheric enhancements in addition to the stature of Zeno Office Solutions, our Presenting Sponsor, are bringing a professional flair to what will become Tampa’s premier Charity Golf Tournament.  The tournament is truly becoming something to behold.”

Proceeds from the event support programs across all service areas of Chapters Health. The services include bereavement for adults and kids, programs for veterans and first responders, and a special needs fund that was created to cover expenses that fall outside the realm of care, but are critically important to patients’ comfort and peace of mind.

In the last five years, the Hospice Open has raised more than $132,000. Last year’s tournament attracted 60 players and raised nearly $50,000.

Foursomes start at $1,200 and there are still sponsorship opportunities for course contests, hole signs,  breakfast, lunch, and the popular helicopter ball drop raffle. A helicopter will drop hundreds of numbered balls over the driving range. The owner of the ball that lands closest to (or first in the hole) wins a Samsung 55” 4K LED TV provided by CDW Healthcare.

To purchase ball drop tickets, or if you’re interested in participating, visit chaptershealth.org/hospice-open/ to register by Thursday, April 22. If you would like more information please contact Pauline Navarro at (407) 583-9966 or [email protected].
