Chapters Health Foundation to Hold Seventh Annual Hospice Open Golf Tournament

Tournament Benefits Patients, Families, and Bereavement Services of Chapters Health System.

The Chapters Health Foundation invites players and spectators to the Seventh Annual Hospice Open, presented by Zeno Office Solutions, on April 8, 2022 at Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club located at 12900 Lake Jovita Boulevard in Dade City.

The format for the Hospice Open is a scramble. Registration and continental breakfast begin at 8 a.m. with a tee time at 9 a.m. Lunch, located at “The Hub,” will once again feature the popular Hydration Station. New to the tournament this year is the 19th Hole Long Drive competition, in partnership with Ultimate Long Drive Inc. Expected to play is Jeff Crittenden, the world long drive champion.

Following the tournament is an awards ceremony and the popular Helicopter Ball Drop contest, sponsored by in which golf balls will be released from a helicopter. Contestants can enter the Helicopter Ball Drop contest upon registration. The ball landing closest to the designated hole wins the grand prize, a cozy one-week stay in a cottage in Dahlonega, GA, nestled in the foothills of Georgia’s Blue Ridge Mountains.

Proceeds from the event support programs across all service areas of Chapters Health. The services include grief support, specialized programs for veterans and first responders, and a special needs fund that covers expenses that fall outside the realm of care but are critically important to patients and families. Last year, the tournament raised more than $62,000.

“Zeno is thrilled to return as presenting sponsor for the Hospice Open,” said Emelie Roberts, national account executive for Zeno Office Solutions. “We believe in the great service Chapters Health provides the community and we couldn’t be happier to support an event with a variety of sponsors and players coming together for a beautiful day.”

“The Chapters Health Foundation’s Hospice Open has quickly evolved into one of the premier charity golf tournaments in the Tampa area,” said Adam Stanfield, vice president of development and executive director of the Chapters Health Foundation. “New contests, and the support of Zeno Office Solutions, our presenting sponsor, have truly turned the Hospice Open into an experience to behold. We look forward to another great day at Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club.”

Registration for foursomes start at $1,200 and sponsorship opportunities are still available. Click here to register or contact Nikki Powers at 813-766-2480 or email [email protected].
