Camp Circle of Love

SAVE THE DATE: March 8 – 10, 2024

All children need to be surrounded by love, especially those who have recently experienced the death of a loved one. LifePath Hospice recognizes the special needs of these children and has created Camp Circle of Love. This weekend camp for children, ages five through high school, helps those who have recently lost a loved one share their feelings of loss with others. The experience combines healing with fun, letting children know that life still has a lot to offer.

Camp will held the weekend of March 8-10, 2024 at Lake Aurora Christian Camp and Retreat Center in Lake Wales. Round-trip transportation is provided for all campers. Camp is situated in a rustic, wooded setting with beautiful lake views and secure cabins. Well-prepared meals will be provided and served daily.

Change Your Life and the Lives of Others: Become a Camp Volunteer

Camp Circle of Love is an amazing experience for children who have experienced the loss of a loved one. Along with traditional camp activities, campers also participate in therapeutic activities throughout the weekend. These activities help the campers process their grief, build relationships with others and have some fun in the process!

Volunteers are an essential part of the Camp Circle of Love team. We cannot support these children without the kindness and generosity of our volunteers. Volunteers will be supported by our professionally trained grief team as well as other seasoned volunteers who have worked camp before. All volunteers will receive training on child grief and how to support our campers prior to the camp weekend.

Our camp volunteers have told us year after year how fulfilling this camp experience is. It’s an opportunity to directly invest in the lives of children who are experiencing deep grief. To see these children grow, play and laugh during this camp is a life-changing experience, and we would love for you to join us!

Interested in volunteering? Complete the Camp Volunteer Application! All volunteers are required to complete an application, including those who volunteered previously. For more information, please email [email protected].

Camp combines exciting outdoor activities with opportunities for group discussions led by cabin staff and volunteers. One of the most poignant activities is a memorial service designed to provide healing and closure opportunities for the child. Supervised camp activities include swimming, arts and crafts, campfires, ziplines and team sports.
