TAMPA, FL (January 9, 2020): Chapters Health System, one of the nation’s premier not-for-profit, community-based healthcare organizations headquartered in Temple Terrace, names Shelly Brandt as the organization’s new vice president of care navigation. She will start in this role on Monday, February 3, 2020. Brandt will be provide leadership and oversight of all functions of the Care Navigation Center.

Chapters Health System Names Healthcare Industry Leader as New Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Chapters Health System Names Dr. Andrew E. Esch Medical Director of Population Health Management and Regional Medical Director for Palliative Care

Esch, MD, MBA, as the organization’s medical director of population health management and regional medical director of palliative care for Pasco, Hernando and Citrus counties. TAMPA, FL (September 11, 2019): The Hospice Women of Giving, a philanthropic group that supports Good Shepherd Hospice, will hold its fourth annual “Seasons of Service” luncheon featuring a panel of community women on Thursday, October 3, 2019. The luncheon will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Lakeland Country Club, 929 Lake Hollingsworth Drive in Lakeland.
Lecanto, FL (September 3 , 2019): In celebration of the reopening of its hospice house in Citrus County, HPH Hospice will hold a free open house on Thursday, September 19, 2019 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. The celebration will take place at the hospice house located at 2939 W. Gulf to Lake Highway in Lecanto.
TAMPA, FL (August 28, 2019): LifePath Hospice, an affiliate of Chapters Health System, has named Dr. David Weiland its medical director. Dr. Weiland was most recently in private practice at Freedom Square Assisted Living Facility in Seminole, Florida with Sunstate Physicians Group. Prior to that, Dr. Weiland served as the chief medical officer at Largo Medical Center in Largo, Florida for five years.
TAMPA, FL (August 2, 2019): Chapters Health System and Hospice of Okeechobee jointly announce today the signing of their finalized affiliation agreement. With this agreement and a staff of more than 1,600 and approximately 1,200 volunteers, Chapters Health and its affiliates now combine to annually provide care to more than 20,000 Floridians residing in 11 Florida counties with an average daily census of more than 2,700.
TAMPA, FL (July 9, 2019): Chapters Health System, one of the nation’s premier not-for-profit community-based care organizations headquartered in Temple Terrace, with current affiliates including Good Shepherd Hospice in Polk, Highlands and Hardee counties; HPH Hospice in Pasco, Hernando and Citrus counties and LifePath Hospice in Hillsborough County and Chapters Home Care Connect and Palliative Care, today signed an initial agreement with Hospice of Okeechobee to collaborate. Hospice of Okeechobee is a not-for-profit provider of hospice and other end-of-life services for residents living in Okeechobee, St. Lucie and Martin counties. Both organizations expect to finalize the affiliation effective September 1, 2019. With this agreement, Chapters Health and its affiliates will combine to provide care to more than 20,000 Floridians annually residing in 11 Florida counties.
Camp REACH OUT is an annual weekend camp for children living in Pasco, Hernando and Citrus Counties, ages 5 to 17, who experienced the death of a loved one.
