LAKELAND, FL (October 19, 2020): The Hospice Women of Giving, a philanthropic group that supports Good Shepherd Hospice, will hold its fifth annual Seasons of Service event presented by Southern Homes on Thursday, November 12, 2020. The virtual event will feature a panel of community members and will take place from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m.
TAMPA, FL (October 15, 2020): Chapters Health Foundation will hold its fifth annual Hospice Open golf tournament on Friday, November 6, 2020 at the Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club in Dade City. The format for this year’s Hospice Open is a scramble. Registration and breakfast provided by Chick-Fil-A begin at 8 a.m., and tee time is 9:30 a.m. An awards ceremony will follow the tournament.
TAMPA, FL (October 14, 2020): Chapters Health Foundation will hold its third annual “Rock the Dock” event presented by USI Insurance Services on Saturday, October 24, 2020 in support of Chapters Health System’s Pediatric Palliative Medicine program. For the first time in the event’s history, the innovative fundraiser will feature a virtual night of disco fever with world renowned DJ Kopec to ensure the safety of all guests.
TAMPA, FL (September 24, 2020): Chapters Health Foundation will hold its fourth annual “Homeruns for Hospice” event on Wednesday, October 7, 2020 in support of the patients, families and bereavement programs for LifePath Hospice. For the first time in the event’s history, the fundraiser will be streamed live from Diamond View Studios in Tampa to ensure the safety of all participants and guests.
TAMPA, FL (AUGUST 27, 2020): As COVID-19 cases continue to rise across the state of Florida, Chapters Health Foundation is proud to announce it has secured a $10,000 grant from Tampa Electric (TECO). With the COVID-19 pandemic affecting medical supplies nationwide, the grant will ensure that frontline team members will have personal protective equipment (PPE) needed to safely care for patients and families.

When all phases are completed, Chapters Health will offer a full continuum of care including hospice, palliative care, home health and other community-based care models to area residents.
Chapters Health Foundation Secures Funding of PPE Purchases for Healthcare Workers as COVID-19 Cases Rise
TAMPA, FL (JULY 9, 2020): As COVID-19 cases continue to rise across the state of Florida, Chapters Health Foundation is proud to announce it has secured funding for 2,000 personal protective equipment (PPE) kits thanks to a $50,000 grant from Regions Bank. Each kit includes an N95 mask, isolation mask, disposable isolation gown, shoe covers, cap, face shield and disposable gloves.

Care Connect’s one centralized access point will be manned by registered nurses 24/7/365 in order to assist members in streamlining the customized care they need.
