Adam Stanfield, MBA, joined the Chapters Health System team in March 2018 as the executive director of Chapters Health Foundation and vice president of development. In 2023, he became the vice president, chief development officer.

The Chapters Health Foundation supports vital community programs and helps patients and their families who cannot afford hospice, home health or palliative medicine services. Annually, Chapters Health Foundation raises $7.2 million in charity and uncompensated care for patients in need.

In his role, Adam is responsible for leading the development team. Adam also oversees the expansion of the foundation’s fundraising capabilities.

Adam’s extensive experience in senior-level management roles spans over two decades. With vast expertise in healthcare and foundation programming, Adam has raised millions of dollars in funds to support foundations with his previous employers.

A graduate of Virginia Tech, Adam earned his Bachelor of Science degree in finance. He later received his Masters of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix. He has served on the boards of the Sacred Journey Hospice Foundation, A Friend’s House, New Century Venture Center and Mars Area Chamber.
