LifePath Hospice Inpatient Unit at Tampa General Hospital

LifePath Hospice Inpatient Unit

The LifePath Hospice Inpatient Unit at Tampa General Hospital (TGH) is a tranquil, compassionate place designed like a home away from home for individuals who have terminal illness and need short-term, round-the-clock care due to a variety of acute medical needs.

The LifePath Hospice Inpatient Unit offers many of the same medical services available at the hospital but with dedicated hospice staff composed of registered nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, hospice aides, social workers, chaplains and trained volunteers.

We work with you, your family and physician to develop an individualized care plan offering intensive treatment during a medical crisis.

Where is the LifePath Hospice Inpatient Unit?

The LifePath Hospice Inpatient Unit is conveniently located on the fourth floor of the East Pavilion at TGH, 1 Tampa General Circle in downtown Tampa.

What Makes the LifePath Hospice Inpatient Unit Unique?

The LifePath Hospice Inpatient Unit is the first of its kind in Hillsborough County.

Compassion and comfort for patients and their loved ones are of utmost importance. As soon as the doors open on the unit, visitors are immersed in the peaceful environment courtesy of Carlson Studio Architecture and Interior Designer Marne Kaplan.

Family and friends may visit anytime and stay overnight even with pets and children in tow. There is a kitchenette and dining area along with on-site laundry for use by families and guests.
