Chapters Health System Recognized by the Great Place to Work® Institute

Tampa, FL (July 10, 2018): Chapters Health System was certified as a great workplace in the Aging Services category today by the independent analysts at the Great Place to Work® Institute. Chapters Health and its affiliates (Good Shepherd Hospice, HPH Hospice, LifePath Hospice, Chapters Health Palliative Care and HPH Home Health) earned this distinction based on extensive ratings provided by its team members in anonymous surveys. HPH Hospice Seeks Prospective Volunteers

Lecanto, FL (June 7, 2018): Do you have a big heart? Or are you looking for something rewarding to fill your free time? You might want to consider volunteering for HPH Hospice. On Thursday, June 28, 2018, and Friday, June 29, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., HPH Hospice will host a two-day orientation training for anyone interested in becoming a volunteer.

 

HPH Home Health Awarded Deemed Status Accreditation from The Joint Commission

New Port Richey, FL (April 30, 2018): HPH Home Health, an affiliate of Chapters Health System, announced today that it had earned The Joint Commission’s deemed status accreditation for home health services by demonstrating continuous compliance with its performance standards. Deemed status is a symbol of quality that reflects an organization’s commitment to providing safe and effective care.

 

Chapters Health System Names Adam Stanfield Vice President of Development

Tampa, FL (April 12, 2018): Chapters Health System and its affiliates (Good Shepherd Hospice, HPH Hospice and LifePath Hospice) named Adam Stanfield as the new Vice President of Development and Executive Director of the Chapters Health Foundation, Inc. Stanfield will be responsible for overall leadership for the development team to include strategic visioning, operational management, staff development and community relations and awareness; the launch of the Chapters Health Foundation including the identification, cultivation and recruitment of a separate community-based board of directors; and the overall expansion of fundraising capabilities.

 

HPH Hospice Hosts 25th Annual Spring Children’s Camp

Brooksville, FL (February 13, 2018): The weekend of March 2 through 4, 2018 marks the 25th annual spring children’s camp hosted by HPH Hospice. Any child living in Pasco, Hernando and Citrus Counties, ages five to 17, who experienced the death of a loved one, can attend the camp that emphasizes the development and building of trust, coping with and managing grief. Each year the camp takes place at the Lakewood Retreat in Brooksville. In 2017, the camp was renamed—Camp REACH OUT, which stands for Remembering Everything About Coping, Hope, Openness, Understanding and Trust.

 

LifePath Hospice Hosts Light Up a Life Events

TAMPA, FL (November 15, 2017): Offering an affirmative way to acknowledge and appreciate cherished loved ones, LifePath Hospice hosts “Light Up a Life” events on three separate dates:  Tuesday, December 12; Wednesday, December 13 and Thursday, December 14.  Starting at 6 p.m., each holiday memorial ceremony, which is free and open to the public, will take place at several locations throughout Hillsborough County.

Good Shepherd Hospice Hosts Lights of Remembrance Events

TAMPA, FL (November  7, 2017): On three separate dates, Good Shepherd Hospice will host “Lights of Remembrance,” which are annual commemorative ceremonies for families and community members to acknowledge and appreciate cherished loved ones. The holiday memorial ceremonies are scheduled for Tuesday, November 28; Tuesday, December 5 and Tuesday, December 12. Starting at 6 p.m., each holiday memorial ceremony, which is free and open to the public, will take place at several locations throughout Polk and Highlands counties.

Chapters Health System Picks Andrew Molosky, MBA, CHPCA as Its New President/CEO

TAMPA, FL (November 1, 2017): Chapters Health System and its affiliates (Good Shepherd Hospice, HPH Hospice and LifePath Hospice) announced today  that Andrew Molosky, MBA, CHPCA, will start officially as the new President and Chief Executive Officer on Monday, December 11, 2017. Molosky, who is succeeding the retiring Kathy L. Fernandez, BSN, MHA, will report directly to the Chapters Health Board of Directors. In 2016, Chapters Health affiliates served almost 17,000 patients and families across eight counties—Citrus, Hardee, Hernando, Hillsborough, Highlands, Pasco, Pinellas and Polk.

Chapters Health System Celebrates National Hospice & Palliative Care Month

TAMPA, FL (October 30, 2017): Chapters Health System and its affiliates (Good Shepherd Hospice, HPH Hospice and LifePath Hospice) celebrate National Hospice and Palliative Care Month by dispelling 10 top hospice myths. Every year November is set aside to raise awareness about care for people coping with life-limiting illness. In Citrus, Hardee, Hernando, Highlands, Hillsborough, Pasco and Polk counties, Chapters Health cares for approximately 15,000 patients every year who are affected by advancing age or illness.
