TAMPA, FL (September 21, 2018): Located on the fourth floor in the East Pavilion at Tampa General Hospital (TGH), LifePath Hospice will open its new inpatient hospice unit on Monday, October 1. The 8,500 square-foot unit featuring 16 private rooms is the first of its kind in Hillsborough County.
TAMPA, FL (September 20, 2018): The Hospice Women of Giving, a philanthropic group that supports Good Shepherd Hospice, will hold its third annual “Seasons of Service” luncheon featuring a panel of community women on Thursday, October 4, 2018. The luncheon is scheduled to take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Lone Palm Golf Club, 800 Lone Palm Golf Drive in Lakeland.

On Thursday, June 28, 2018, and Friday, June 29, 2018 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., HPH Hospice will host a two-day orientation training for anyone interested in becoming a volunteer.

Tampa, FL (April 12, 2018): Chapters Health System and its affiliates (Good Shepherd Hospice, HPH Hospice and LifePath Hospice) named Adam Stanfield as the new Vice President of Development and Executive Director of the Chapters Health Foundation, Inc. Stanfield will be responsible for overall leadership for the development team to include strategic visioning, operational management, staff development and community relations and awareness; the launch of the Chapters Health Foundation including the identification, cultivation and recruitment of a separate community-based board of directors; and the overall expansion of fundraising capabilities.
TAMPA, FL (March 19, 2018): LifePath Hospice invites the community to a dedication ceremony of its Sun City Center Resource Center on Monday, March 26 at 10:30 a.m. Located at 3725 Upper Creek Drive in Ruskin, the resource center on the campus of the Sun City Center Hospice House will be named, the Fred E. Wiswall Resource Center. A reception and tours will follow the ceremony.
Brooksville, FL (February 13, 2018): The weekend of March 2 through 4, 2018 marks the 25th annual spring children’s camp hosted by HPH Hospice. Any child living in Pasco, Hernando and Citrus Counties, ages five to 17, who experienced the death of a loved one, can attend the camp that emphasizes the development and building of trust, coping with and managing grief. Each year the camp takes place at the Lakewood Retreat in Brooksville. In 2017, the camp was renamed—Camp REACH OUT, which stands for Remembering Everything About Coping, Hope, Openness, Understanding and Trust.
TAMPA, FL (November 15, 2017): Offering an affirmative way to acknowledge and appreciate cherished loved ones, LifePath Hospice hosts “Light Up a Life” events on three separate dates: Tuesday, December 12; Wednesday, December 13 and Thursday, December 14. Starting at 6 p.m., each holiday memorial ceremony, which is free and open to the public, will take place at several locations throughout Hillsborough County.
