Barnes & Noble Carrollwood
Do you like to read? Searching for a club to discuss meaningful books? On Tuesday, September 11 at 10 a.m., LifePath Hospice continues the Life Reads Book Club at Barnes & Noble in Carrollwood located at 11802 N. Dale Mabry Highway. Created for the community, this club features books that highlight life encounters with illness and aging — especially from a caregiver’s perspective.
The next book selected is “Still Alice,” which is a compelling debut novel about a 50-year-old woman’s sudden descent into early onset Alzheimer’s disease, written by Lisa Genova, who holds a PhD in neuroscience from Harvard University. The discussion of “Still Alice” will be led by Ashleigh Kirsten, RN and Tracey Ward, professional relations representative, both with LifePath Hospice.
For the event, the group will meet in the back of Barnes and Noble. Please note that any veteran in attendance will receive a free cup of coffee as part of the “We Honor Veterans” program at LifePath Hospice.
For more information, please contact Ashleigh at 813.394.3231.
